In the Wind
In the wind, the echo of your voice in song
surprised me when I heard it.
Touched and embraced by the emotions in that music,
my heart soared aloft with the wind.

I bent my ears.

Even when I closed my eyes,
my heart followed unerringly
the warmth and brightness

about the Commission and the Premiere
The SMA version was commissioned by the chorus club of the Seibu Junior High School of Kasugai City (Ikuya Miyata: Director) and premiered by the club at the 28th Aichi Prefecture Vocal Ensemble Contest (Aichi, Japan) on April 17, 2021.
The SATB version was premiered by the Osaka Kyoiku Univ. Mixed Choir, Ichikon of the Osaka Metropolitan Univ., and the Osaka Univ. Mixed Choir (with Kentaro Sato: Conductor, & Noriko Naito: Piano) on July 17, 2023 at the Joint Concert 2023..
委嘱・初演に関して
女声合唱版は、春日井市立西部中学校合唱部（顧問・宮田郁也）の委嘱作品で、2021年4月17日、同合唱団により第28回愛知県ヴォーカル・アンサンブルコンテスト：中学校部門（名古屋市青少年文化センター アートピアホール）にて初演が行われました。
混声合唱版の初演は2023年7月17日、Joint Concert 2023にて、大阪教育大学混声合唱団、大阪公立大学合唱団いちこん、大阪大学混声合唱団（指揮：佐藤賢太郎、ピアノ：内藤典子）により行われました。（大阪府立男女共同参画・青少年センター / ドーンセンター・ホール）
