Magníficat ánima mea Dóminum,
et exsultávit spíritus meus in Deo salutári meo.
Quia respéxit humilitátem ancíllae suae.

Ecce enim ex hoc beátam me dicent omnes generatiónes.
Quia fécit mihi mágna qui pótens est,
et sánctum nómen eius,
et misericórdia eius a progénie in progénies timéntibus eum.

2. Fécit Poténtiam
Fécit poténtiam in bráchio suo:
dispérsit supérbos mente cordis sui.
Depósuit poténtes de sede: et exaltávit húmiles.
Esuriéntes implévit bonis: et dívites dimísit inánes.

3. Suscépit Ísrael
Suscépit Ísrael púerum suum: recordátus misericórdiae suae.
Sicut locútus est ad patres nostros:
Ábraham, et sémini eius in sǽcula.

4. Glória Patri
Glória Patri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sancto.
Sicut erat in princípio,
et nunc, et semper, et in sæcula sæculórum.

1. Magníficat Ánima Mea
My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit has leaped for joy in my health-giving God.
Wherefore He has looked back at the humility of His own maidservant.

For, lo, from this [time forth] all generations will say me [to be] blessed.
Wherefore, He, who is powerful, has done big [things] for me,
and His name [is] holy,
and His pity for [those] fearing Him [is] unto progeny upon progeny.

2. Fécit Poténtiam
He has made power in His own arm;
He has dispersed [those who are] overbearing in their own heart’s mind.
He has put the powerful down from [their] seat; and He has raised high the humble.
He has filled up the hungering with good [things], and He has sent away the rich empty.

3. Suscépit Ísrael
He has seized up Israel, His own servant, having taken to heart His own pity.
Thus as He has spoken to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his seed, unto the generations.

4. Glória Patri
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
Thus as it was in the first beginning,
and now, and always, and unto the generations of the generations.

我的靈魂頌揚上主，
